Golf outing to raise funds for Brookfield nonprofit
ActionCOACH and Rogue Wave Marketing are teaming up to host a golf outing as a fundraiser for a Brookfield nonprofit this summer.
The event will include 18 holes of golf, time for networking, raffles, a fundraising auction, and a reception with food and drinks. Golfers will also have the chance to compete for prizes, which include longest putt and longest drive, with categories for both male and female players. At the reception, attendees will hear about the work done by The Stories Project, which the event is supporting.
The cost to register as a golfer is $150 per person. This includes the golf game with a cart, lunch, dinner, two drink tickets, and admission to the reception and silent auction. Golfers can pay an additional $20 per person for an activity bracelet, which includes an extra drink when they arrive, three mulligans (second attempts at a shot) and a three-foot string. Those who would like to participate in the event without playing golf can buy tickets for the dinner and silent auction for $40 per person. Event organizers often work with print shops to design items like drink tickets.
The Stories Project is an organization that believes everyone’s life story is valuable. It helps people record their stories on video and share them with family and friends.
The golf outing will take place on Friday, August 18 starting at 9:00 am at Ironwood Golf Course.
