Country in the Burg to make Wisconsin return
A Wisconsin country music festival is set to return this August, with proceeds from the two nights of concerts going to charity.
Country in the Burg launched in 2019 and is now looking to hold its second edition. The first day of the Festival will be headlined by Nashville singer-songwriter Kip Moore, touring in support of his internationally-inspired album Wild World; award-winning breakout country star Drake White; and Kristie Kraus, a Wisconsin-born singer who recently broke into the country world. The second night will feature veteran Georgia artist Billy Currington, chart-topping musician Easton Corbin, and best-selling blues-rocker Frankie Ballard.
The concert will be donating funds raised to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Mel’s Charities which contribute to special needs organizations, and the Wounded Warrior Project. This year, the organizers will also hold a Country in the Burg Golf Outing to provide another means to raise money. The concert will look to attract music lovers from nearby areas like Brookfield and Wisconsin. Charitable concerts, typically promoted through tools like poster printing and local radio advertising, can be a major source of contributions to non-profit organizations.
The 2021 edition of Country in the Burg will take place in Cedar Creek Park in Cedarburg, Wisconsin on August 27 and 28. The Golf Outing will take place on September 27 at River Club of Mequon.
