Brookfield schools to host fundraising event
The Elmwood Education Foundation will hold its 7th annual Circle of Friends fundraising event this May.
The event will raise funds for the Elmwood Education Foundation’s grant program. Applications for these grants are open to students, teachers, and parents. The grants can support innovation, educational excellence and creativity, and they need to have a positive impact on a substantial number of students while providing long-term benefits to the school district. The fundraiser will be held at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield.
The event begins with welcome drinks and time to explore the innovation stations, which allow students to display projects they are working on. At 5:15 pm, attendees will gather in the auditorium to hear featured speakers and participate in an auction-style fundraising activity. Afterwards, there will be additional time to visit the innovation stations and to sample food from local restaurants. Musicians from the school district will provide entertainment.
Tickets to the event cost $55 per person and $35 for Elmbrook staff members. These tickets, as well as raffle tickets, can be purchased in advance online. Event sponsors and business donors often provide promotional pens to advertise their businesses at this type of event.
The 7th Annual Elmbrook Education Foundation Circle of Friends event will be held on Thursday, May 12, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm.
