Highland games have become a tradition in Scotland and other areas where Scottish people have settled, and a Seattle event will celebrate this cultural heritage.
The 57th annual Heather Tartan Ball will once again be showcasing the music, food and culture of Scotland, and everyone who would like to join in can don their family clan’s tartan kilt and be part of the fun. A silent auction is on the agenda, and the process will be used to help fund the upcoming Pacific Northwest Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering.
The festivities will get started with a social hour, and everyone can view and bid on the items and experiences in the silent auction. Everyone can kick up their heels with some highlands style dancing ,and pipe bands and live music will continue on throughout the celebration. Early bird tickets will be available until October 20th.
A cultural celebration may include materials that highlight the language spoken in a particular area. A poster printing company can incorporate this into the graphic design work it performs for a particular occasion.
The 2023 Heather Tartan Ball and Silent Auction will be celebrating Scotland on November 4th. The Seattle Latvian Cultural Center, which is located at 11710 3rd Venue North East. It will kick off for this year at 6:00 pm, and passes may still be available through its ticketing website.
