Cat lovers from across the Pacific Northwest will be heading to Seattle to be part of an event that will put the feline set in the spotlight.
The Sea-Meow Convention will kick off November with shopping, learning about and celebrating cats, and bringing together the people who love them. It will encourage the public to become active when it comes to animal welfare, and it will also help kitties in need of a loving home to find a family.
The festivities will offer a one-of-a-kind experience, and at least 80 vendors will be on hand selling pet supplies and cat-related merchandise. Celebrity felines will be the guests of honor for a meet and greet, and a kitten cuddle booth, face painting, cat henna, a costume contest, and the world’s first cat calling competition are all on the agenda. Kids aged five and under will be admitted for free, and a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to local charities.
