Seattle session just for the sake of it

Sake has been growing in popularity for many years, and a deep dive experience will soon be available for anyone who would like to learn more about this Japanese fermented beverage.

Seattle sake fans and those who are new to the drink may find that the Sake Education Class being offered by Vino at the Landing has lots to offer. Pairing the drink with a variety of food will be part of the discussion, and tickets are $30.00 each.

The two-hour session will explore how sake is made and the different varieties commonly found on the market. Guests will learn how to identify its key aromas and flavors, and proper storage, serving, and other etiquette will be reviewed as well. No experience is needed to enjoy the experience, and the instructor for the occasion will be Rick McMatser, who owns Vino at the Landing and also Reds Wine Bar. An opportunity to do some taste testing is on the agenda.

A wine tasting or other event planned with foodies in mind may require special Drinkware. A printing services company can provide sampling glasses printed with almost any graphic design a customer desires.

This deep dive into sake will be held on Monday, July 29. It will run from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and passes for the session may be ordered through its event listing.
