Seattle market to celebrate spring

One of the parts of spring that is enjoyed by many are the fresh flowers, and an upcoming Seattle celebration will welcome the new season’s arrival.

Pike Place Market will be hosting its annual Flower Festival in May. Admission will be free of charge, and many of the flowers that will be on offer will be grown in the local area.

The activity will see at least 40 tents set up by flower growers from Whatcom, Snohomish and King counties, and the crowd can choose to purchase a pre-made bouquet or flowers so they can create their own. Many types, including peonies, irises, tulips, daffodils and other species will be available, and those who arrive early will get the best selection.

This floral market has been scheduled in time for Mother's Day, and the public may decide to hand make an arrangement for mom or even treat her to some time at the festival. Live music and other activities have been planned, and all are welcome.

A pop-up market that offers locally grown flowers, produce, or other agricultural goods may make it easier for the public to support their area's farmers. Custom designed Packaging supplies, Business Cards, and other personalized materials can be crafted for a farming operation by a printer that can perform in house graphic design work.

The annual Flower Festival will be on offer at Pike Place Market on May 11th and 12th. Everyone is invited to stop and check it out for themselves.
