Seattle’s climate, soil, and other conditions are highly conducive to growing edible plants, and a local pop-up market will help local home horticulturalists hit the ground in early May.
A spring weekend will see Tilth Alliance host its annual Edible Plant Sale at Meridian Playground, and it is anticipated that it will be a top pick for local gardeners. At least 500 varieties and cultivars will be available for as long as supplies last, all of which will be organic and sustainably grown.
Plants in the mix include vegetables as well as edible flowers, small fruits, and herbs, along with pollinator species. While they browse and buy, shoppers can learn more about how they can be an earth-friendly gardener. There will also be several experts on hand offering tips and advice.
To give those who would like an even more immersive experience the opportunity to add to their personal collection ahead of the crowd, an early bird sale has been scheduled for the Friday evening. A flyer printing company can prepare a variety of effective yet economical marketing materials for such an activity.
The annual Tilth Alliance Edible Plant Sale will be popping up in the community on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. The Early Bird Sale will begin at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 3. Tickets can be reserved on the Tilth Alliance website.
