There can be something special about rescuing a shelter pet, and Seattle residents who are considering adopting a new furry friend may want to check out an activity hosted by a local rehoming group.
Anyone who would like to add a pooch to their family is welcome to drop by the Adoptable Dog Meet and Greet on the way at Seattle Restored, courtesy of Puddles Barkery. Even if they cannot adopt right now, they can still volunteer to lend a hand.
This will be the first time that The Haus of Dogs will be partnering with the “Barkery” to hold an adoption meet-and-greet, and both parties are hoping it will be a big success. The public will be able to get to know the organization’s staff and volunteers, and there may even be some furry friends on site hoping to find a forever home. There will also be details provided about fostering.
A meet-and-greet activity can garner a lot of attention. A brochure printing company can prepare items for adoption kits filled with information and resources that may be helpful to someone adopting a new companion animal.
The team at Puddles Barkery will be partnering with The Haus of Dogs to host their first adoption meet-and-greet on Saturday, October 14. It will take place at 2819 2nd Avenue.
