Seattle’s community of specialty food preparers have been anxiously anticipating the arrival of an event billed as being the premier show of its kind for the Pacific Northwest.
Gobble Up, which is a festival that welcomes food service providers from across the state, will once again be held at Magnuson Park Hangar 30. It will give the craft food industry a time to shine, helping it showcase its talents to a wide pool of potential customers, since the general public is also welcome.
This free event will be filled with samples of a variety of foods prepared in the state, and everyone will be able to try their luck in one of the dozens of raffle draws in the works. Many of the prizes will be Corporate Gifts supplied by area restaurants and other eateries, and it will also provide a chance to do some early holiday shopping. Chefs and restaurateurs may find plenty to catch their interest, and there will be lots of locally made ingredients and products for them to explore.
According to the expo’s planners, there may still be vendor spaces on offer. Eateries and other food service providers who do so will be able to distribute Business Cards, samples and other items to the crowd.
This exploration of Seattle's vibrant food scene will be on November 19. The fun will kick off at 10:00 am at 6310 North East 74th Street.
