Next month, a Seattle session will introduce the fun of working with clay to a new crop of potential potters, and everyone will craft items they can keep or give to someone special.
Participants in Potterings’ Garlic Grater and Herb Bowl session will be spending three hours learning the basics of working with clay. This is a hands-on activity with enough space for up to six students.
The small class size for the activity means every learner will enjoy individualized attention, and those interested can attend on their own or with a friend or partner. The clay, tools, glazing, firing and instruction are all included and all herb bowls created will be dishwasher safe. Everyone is advised to bring an apron to wear and may also bring snacks and a drink to sip on.
The completed projects will be ready for pick up approximately three weeks after its scheduled date. Tickets start at $53.11 each.
While an introductory class may provide an opportunity to learn the basics of a crafting technique, the attendees may want to keep on learning afterwards. Handouts and other take-home materials will allow them to do this, and these can be prepared by a brochure printing company.
Potters will be providing this easy instruction to the art of working with clay on Saturday, December 6 at 3400 Harbor Avenue Southwest. It runs from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
