Seattle is gearing up for a garden-focused event, and the celebration is expected to draw green-fingered fans from a wide area.
The Northwest Flower and Garden Festival will once again give young and old alike an opportunity to enjoy an immersive horticultural experience in the heart of Settle. It will be running for four days, and there will be lots to see and do.
The celebration will be filled with display gardens and other opportunities for inspiration, and the creators will be coming in from across the region to showcase their skills. There will be special sections for high rise and other urban gardeners, and a variety of educational seminars have been scheduled. Floral design workshops and a "container showdown” will add even more fun, and tours, a "traveler's tea” and a horticultural marketplace filled with plants and supplies are all in the works. Various ticket types are on offer, and there are separate ones for booking seats in one of the seminars or the tea.
