Block party weekend just weeks away in Seattle

One of the biggest weekend-long parties in Seattle is set to happen in August.

The Capitol Hill Block Party takes over the neighborhood as more than 100 popular and up-and-coming musical artists perform at dozens of restaurants, bars, and outdoor stages.

This year's party offers a wide range of performers. Day one's acts include Magdalena Bay, DJ Trixie Mattel, and Fleetwood Snack. On day two, attendees will hear Tinashe, Rochelle Jordan, and Pink Steam, among others. Some of the final day's performers are Lucy Bedroque, Instant Crush, and Fatal Femmes. Sometimes, artists at music festivals like this one offer Promotional Products to their audiences.

Since the artists will perform at various locations, people can spend the evening "bar hopping" or checking out the different restaurants and tasting their Menus. Multiple food trucks will also be present. Due to bars being involved, this festival is a 21+ event and requires a valid form of ID.

VIP options are available. These tickets include a dedicated check-in line along with access to two lounges, private bars, and restrooms. VIP attendees can also enter to win themed prizes.

The Capitol Hill Block Party takes place from August 7 to 9 in Seattle. The primary entrance will be at 1122 E. Pike Street at 12th Avenue. As there is no designated parking, festival hosts highly recommend using rideshare services or public transportation. The event can be reached by Sound Transit or King County Metro. Tickets start at $149 for single-day general admission.
