A “purrfectly” great time is on the way for Seattle’s feline fans, and it will put these furry fans center stage.
This annual event, which is the Pacific Northwest’s largest cat themed convention, will be a full weekend of fun. It will also raise money for a variety of national organizations that care about cats.
The gathering will feature a retail show floor with at least 90 “meowchants”, and everything from feline themed art to cat treats, textiles, paper goods and more. Influencer cats and their people will be on hand to meet, and workshops and speaker’s panels will provide tips for providing furry friends with top care. There will be adoptable kittens looking for a forever home, and the kids in the crowd can watch the balloon twisters, get temporary tattoos, have their faces painted and enjoy the other fun. The cat cosplay and calling contests will be back as well.
When they attend the celebration, the ticket holders will be doing a good turn for cats in need, as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to non-profit animal welfare groups. Promotional Pens are often sold during an event to maximize the amount raised for its charity of choice.
This year's Sea-Meow celebration will be taking over the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall on November 1st and 2nd. The doors will open at 9:45 pm on both days.
