Richland to showcase artists in upcoming festival
This July, the Howard Amon Park in Richland, Washington will be hosting the annual Art in the Park festival.
Art in the Park is a fundraiser that supports the Allied Arts Association and The Gallery at the Park. Hundreds of artists from around the United States come together to present their best works for the public, taking part in a competition where an anonymous jury will decide which displays are the winners. Categories for the event include such genres as gourmet food, photography, and assorted media. Local musicians and food vendors will also be attending the festival.
Artists who participate in the event, which is now in its 69th year, can set up booths where guests can view their pieces and even purchase items. Vendors can use flyer printing services to provide visitors with information like contact details or links to their websites. A portion of all sales made during the event will go to the Allied Arts Association. There will be volunteers at the festival who can booth-sit for single artists needing breaks from attending their stations.
The festival will be held on July 26 and 27. The event is a family-friendly show, and everyone is welcome to view the artists at the festival. Any selected artists who are unable to attend can cancel from the event by July 25.
