Richland race addresses head and neck cancer
Partners in Care will hold its annual Head & Neck 5K/2-Mile Walk in April at Columbia Point Marina Park in Richland.
Those interested in supporting people with head and neck cancer can participate in a fundraiser and athletic event. Award pins will be given out to the top runners, and medals will be offered to the top three racers per age group. Participants in the event can pick up their packets from the park on the day of the race between 7:30 am and 8:30 am. People are allowed to dress up as their favorite superheroes during the event.
Companies can support the fundraiser by buying sponsorship packages. The sponsor levels range from $150 to $7,500 and provide organizations with benefits such as being featured on the event flags and shoutouts on social media platforms. Businesses that support the event can also receive a booth space at the race. Vendors may reserve a spot at the event for $200. The cost of the space includes a table and two chairs.
The event will be on Saturday, April 15 and will begin at 9:00 am. Adults who register in advance can pay $30 to enter the race. Prices will increase by $5 within 10 days of the event. All guests can park at the venue for free, and no alcohol may be brought into the park. Banner printing services can help organizations market events like this to others.
