Workshop for program managers scheduled in Lynnwood

A workshop to help elevate the role of Technical Program Manager to the highest standards in numerous industries is scheduled for Lynnwood.

A Technical Program Manager (TPM) is a professional businessperson whose task is to develop and implement a company’s technical projects. Managers of this type are responsible for a project in its entirety, from describing its requirements to evaluating the product once it is completed. They often work together with engineers to establish product architecture and technology, which means a TPM often has a wide technical background, and strong organizational and communication skills, as well as solid business acumen.

The workshop is presented by TPM Events, which is a non-profit organization. It helps TPMs advance their skills through local chapters and the annual TPM Summit, which is coming up in Lynnwood where it is called a TPM Basecamp.

The two-day conference is decentralized, with meetings taking place in Bangalore, India; New York City; Vancouver, Canada; and San Carlos, California. The speakers for the event are still being determined, and people attending the Lynnwood meeting will be able to watch live-streamed presentations from the other locations. The session also includes multiple tracks, with agenda items still being determined. The two-day event includes a live local presentation, followed by broadcasts from around the world.

The TPM Basecamp is scheduled for November 13 and 14, at the Lynnwood Event Center, Hall 2D. When they plan events like this, organizers can work with brochure printing to create suitable materials.
