Lynnwood business day to feature four panel discussions

People with small businesses should consider attending an upcoming event in Lynnwood.

The Economic Alliance Snohomish County is the organizer of the upcoming Small Business Summit. More than 600 individuals from businesses throughout the area will gather for a day of exhibits, networking opportunities, training, and panel discussions.

The summit is designed for entrepreneurs who are running a small business, anyone considering starting up their own business, people who work with small businesses, those who work in construction or have business dealings with companies in the construction industry, organizations that make resources available to small business, private businesses that support other small businesses, prime contractors, and those who would like to discover new opportunities in the region.

Included with the admission fee are complimentary meals (breakfast and lunch), admission to the tradeshow open for the entire day, and access to all four panels.

The four panel discussions are “Business Strategies, Growth and Development,” from 10:00 pm until 11:00 pm; “Career Connected Learning and Beyond,” from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm; “Micro & Small Business Funding,” from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm; and “Unconscious Bias Training,” from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm. There will be a break for lunch and time to network, which would be an ideal time for attendees to exchange Business Cards.

The summit is scheduled for October 26 at the Lynnwood Convention Center on 196th Street Southwest. The doors open at 8:00 am and the summit concludes at 5:00 pm.
