Live music on tap in Lynnwood

Headbangers need to get ready for an event at The Vessel, as three tribute bands are on the way.

Maiden NW will be performing, along with their guests We’re Not Motörhead, and Disposable Zeroes. Maiden NW is now known as Maiden NW – The Premier Iron Maiden Tribute, and plays throughout the Pacific Northwest. They first got together in 2010, and are pleased to present the music of the heavy metal legends Iron Maiden.

We’re Not Motörhead, a Motörhead tribute band, will open the show, followed by Disposable Zeroes, a tribute to Metallica. Maiden NW will wind up the evening.

We’re Not We’re Not Motörhead comprises Aaron Tacket, who impersonates Lemmy Kilmister, channeling the talent, personality, and appearance of the original. Fans of the tribute band say:

“It’s hard to tell the difference between him and the real Lemmy.”

Randall is on the guitar, and Darren works the drums, completing the trio.

Disposable Zeros began at a Seattle fundraiser, where two of the future bandmates played Metallica every year. They finally decided they wanted to play Metallica all the time, and the band formed and played 28 shows in two years. The current lineup is Dan Estrella as James, Clint Clark as Lars, Mike Lewin as Kirk, and Thai Dao as Rob/Jason/Cliff.

The Vessel Taphouse has a dashing pirate theme, and is a popular venue for live music. The concert is on Saturday, May 6, and is the sort of event that could be advertised by using flyer printing to create handouts for local distribution.
