A session is coming up that will teach real estate professionals about a core course intrinsic to the mission of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
The CCIM – Washington Chapter is hosting the event. CCIM is a term applied to someone who is recognized as an expert in both the commercial and the investment sectors of the real estate industry. CCIMs include bankers, attorneys, commercial lenders, institutional investors, developers, property managers, real estate executives, appraisers, asset managers, investment counselors, leasing professionals, brokers, and others in the industry. The CCIM Institute provides educational and analytical tools to those in commercial real estate.
The upcoming meeting will discuss CI 102, a course that teaches how to use advanced digital tools and “big data” to analyze important issues such as supply-chain strategy, facility location, and market demand. Previous students have learned data analytics and mapping to help their clients decide where to locate stores, while others have helped clients determine the size of the demand for apartment properties. Students will be given four case studies to work with, each covering one of the four major types of property: retail, multi-family, industrial, and office.
The CCIM-WA: CI102 Market Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate conference is scheduled for April 22 to 25 at the Commercial Brokers Association, 20700 44th Ave W, Suite in Lynnwood. Hosts of meetings like this will often work with Print shops to create suitable class material.
