Two of the funniest people in the Pacific Northwest are bringing their slightly skewed views to Lynnwood.
Luke Severeid, who appears on Bumbershoot, Sirius XM and is a veteran of the Seattle International Comedy Competition, will appear with Jess Everett at the Vessel Taphouse.
Severeid is a native of the Pacific Northwest, who has more than ten years’ experience doing comedy across Canada and the United States. Silly, loud, and a lover of metal music and hill hiking, he is based in Seattle and has gained his comedic chops opening for stars like MS Pat, DL Hugley, and Mark Normand. His style of comedy has been variously described as explosive and wisely idiotic. He was a winner at HUMPFEST for Best Comedy Film, and made it to the semi-finals of the San Francisco Comedy Competition recently.
Jess Everett is a Tacoma native whose take on life is darker, thanks to his medical issues. However, he manages to give even dark topics like depression a light touch. Although he did not make it into the Seattle International Comedy Competition, he did enter—and win—the Olympia Comedy Competition. Since that contest lasted only one year, Jess is the only winner on the planet. He has enjoyed sharing the stage with stars like Dave Attell and Ryan Singer.
Comedy Night in the Captain’s Lounge at the Vessel Taphouse is set to take place on November 10. Organizers of shows like this can use poster printing to create advertising for them.
