Chance to rock away the night in Lynnwood

Two outstanding performers will make the Vessel the place to be in Lynwood.

Roni Lee is on the way, along with Invincible – The Pat Benatar Experience.

Lee moved to Hollywood when she was 17, and became the lead guitarist of a band called Venus and the Razorblades, which was backed by producer Kim Fowley. Soon afterwards, she found herself on stage in the late 1970s with stars like Blondie, Steppenwolf, the Ramones, and Van Halen. She is coming to Lynnwood from a tour of Europe.

Invincible – The Pat Benatar Experience is a tribute band for another legendary woman of rock. Invincible is Darlene Tyler as Pat Benatar, Monty Smith as Neil Giraldo (Benatar’s husband), Tommy Wall as guitarist Roger Capps, and Craig (CJ) McRae as drummer Myon Grombacher.

Critics note that Tyler recreates Benatar’s sound precisely, as well as her mannerisms, and that she is so expert in her recreation that audiences are forgiven for thinking they are watching Benatar herself. She delivers hits like “Love Is a Battlefield,” “We Belong,” and the classic “Hit Me with Your Best Shot.” Smith is noted for recreating Neil Giraldo and the chemistry he and Benatar created.

The concert is set for Saturday, September 9 at The Vessel, where organizers can promote it using flyer printing to create advertising handouts.
