Book fair planned in Lynnwood

Readers have a great event ahead of them in Lynnwood.

‘Written in the Northwest Book Fair’ celebrates the talented authors and book artists that make the Pacific Northwest special. The fair brings together more than 85 authors who will be glad to discuss their works with attendees. These writers work in genres from children’s Books to science fiction to mysteries, so that people attending the event will be sure to find something that appeals to them.

The fair is also hosting special guests, Seanan McGuire, and Jennifer Brozek. McGuire is the author of two series of urban fantasies, the “InCryptid” series, and the “October Daye” series. The latter explores the world of changelings, half-human, half-fairy creatures who belong to neither world. “InCryptid” deals with the fate of cryptids at the hands of humans.

Jennifer Brozek is an award-winning author, media tie-in-writer, ad editor. She has won the Scribe Award, and been nominated for a Hugo Award, among others. She won nominations for the Bram Stoker Award for her books “The Last Days of Salton Academy” and “Never Let Me Sleep.”

Written in the Northwest Book Fair will take place on November 23, from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm, at the Lynnwood Event Center, 3711 196th Street Southwest. When they plan events like this, organizers will often contact a printer who can use flyer printing to create a handout for attendees listing the authors and a schedule of presentations.
