Holiday gift bazaar open indoors in Federal Way

The Candy Cane Lane Holiday Gift Bazaar is now open.

The bazaar is a presentation of the Federal Way Farmers Market, and brings people indoors so they can do their holiday shopping in comfort.

Typical of a bazaar, shoppers will find decorations, sweets, fun gifts, handmade items, and more. Many of the vendors are dressed in costume, and the atmosphere is merry and fun. The bazaar is set up in the Commons Mall, at the former Sears store.

Among the vendors to be found in Candy Cane Lane are the Boutique of Thailand, Fudge Works (which offers homemade fudge in flavors like peanut butter, dark chocolate and sea salt, and mint) and Marsanty Creations, which offers handmade jewelry for sale.

Bazaar organizers have not forgotten the little ones, and there are plenty of activities for kids to enjoy, including toys and coloring sheets. Organizers of this type of event can use banner printing to create festive seasonal decorations to enhance the venue in addition to what the vendors have done.

Candy Cane Lane opened in late November, and will be open on a Thursday through Sunday basis until this weekend. Next week, the bazaar will be open from Monday through Sunday for those last-minute gifts. The bazaar is open the same hours as the mall, and is on South Commons.
