Federal Way families are reminded to save space in their May schedule for an activity that will showcase some of the big rigs and other vehicles used in the local area.
In partnership with Wild Waves Theme and Water Park, the city will be offering a Touch a Truck event, and it will be set up in the Park’s parking lot. It will take place rain or shine, and it will offer lots of free hands-on fun.
The families that stop by will find police cars, ambulances. Fire trucks and other first responder vehicles, and there will also be utility trucks such as dumps trucks, semis and even tractors rolling in for the day. Everyone can climb into the cabs of the vehicles on display, and they may honk the horns and find out how they operate. The Federal Way police and public works departments as well as South King Fire and Rescue and other local agencies will all be taking part.
When preparing for an in-person activity, organizers may find themselves in the market for promotional Pens and other swag to hand out to the crowd. A local printing services company will have a variety of options available.
Federal Way has planned this Touch a Truck for May 16th, and it will run from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Further details can be found on its web listing.
