A summer festival will soon be bringing the fun to Federal Way, and Town Square Park will be the location for all the excitement.
The Federal Way Community Festival will be a celebration of the diversity that makes so many feel the city is a great place to hang their hat, and it will run for six hours. Both businesses and not-for-profit groups have been invited to take part, and there will be activities just for the kids.
People can spend some time browsing and buying from the small businesses, and there will also be food service providers on hand to ensure everyone is well fed. Local art will be on display, and a kids’ zone with crafts, games, and other fun is also in the works. Entertainment, including live music, will add an extra festive touch to the occasion.
Just as with many other public celebrations, the Federal Way Community Festival has been organized thanks to financial assistance and other support from the city's business sector. Letterheads, certificates of appreciation, and other custom designed documents for an event can be crafted by Stationery printers.
Federal Way’s Diversity Commission will be showcasing what makes the city special with this summer festival on Saturday, August 9. It will be running from 12:00 noon until 6:00 pm, and admission will be free for everyone.
