Federal Way workshop to turn trash into treasure

“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is the inspiration behind a Federal Way workshop taking place in early April.

Kids from the ages of 9 to 17 may enjoy being part of a workshop that will utilize recycled and repurposed materials to construct a mini golf course. These are intended to be used indoors, and advance registration is required to participate.

The group will discover how they can recycle old materials into a game that can be a lot of fun to play, and the hope is this will inspire them to keep on being environmentally conscious. Once they are finished crafting, everyone will be able to give their set-up a test drive using special golf balls and putters intended for indoor use. They can then take it with them to enjoy at home with their friends and family.

Young people may really enjoy learning a new skill along with others their age. Marketing services for an activity will be available at a professional printer in the local area that offers flyer printing and other custom Print work to the community.

This hands-on Federal Way workshop planned with young people in mind has been scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, April 8. The venue for the function can be found at 34200 1st Way South in Federal Way.
