As the days of summer draw closer, Federal Way golfers are invited to sign up for an area tournament that will see them play for a variety of prizes while they network and have fun.
Mid-June will see the Golf Scramble and Fundraiser planned in support of the North Tacoma Soccer Club, taking place at the Allenmore Golf Course. Registration is being offered for teams of four, with the fee starting at $500.
Players will be competing in a scramble-style game, and each group of four will be offered the use of a powered cart. At each hole, they will be invited to try their hand at an assortment of games, and swag Bags of Promotional Products supplied by the sponsor will be distributed to thank the registrants for their support.
There are several sponsorship levels for the fundraiser, and the support of the local corporate community will be greatly appreciated. As well as the golf, the plans for the day include an auction and banquet. Anyone not playing or who will only have time to attend the banquet is asked to contact the organizers, as special tickets are available for this.
This day of enjoying the fresh air and sunshine along with friends old and new will be held on Saturday, June 15. The tournament will get started at 9:00 am.
