Local families with a love of wheels are on the guestlist for an event that will throw the “don't touch” rule out the window.
The 10th annual Touch a Truck event is on the way to Federal Way, and it will see big rigs, municipal, military, first responder, and other equipment roll in. Both the young and old can explore the vehicles on display in this free event.
Running for four hours, the function will give the public an insider’s view of the vehicles on display, and they can climb in and on them, honk the horns, and give the lights a try. They will be invited to learn about the roles these machines play in the community, and there will be other fun to be had as well.
An activity that lets attendees get hands on can give the public a different perspective on the equipment that keeps their community running. Signage and other oversized printed materials for a function can be prepared by area banner printing companies.
Federal Way will be running its 10th annual Touch a Truck Day on Saturday, May 11. It will open at 10:00 am, and the fun will keep on going until 2:00 pm. The Wild Waves Theme & Water Park Parking Lot will be the venue for the occasion.
