Federal Way families offered fun truck event

Federal Way families and anyone else who enjoys viewing big rigs up close may want to save the date for an event that will allow them the opportunity to do so.

The City of Federal Way Parks and Recreation department has scheduled a Touch a Truck for mid-May, and it will be open to members of the public for three hours. Admission will be free of charge, and parents may want to bring a camera or have their phone ready so they can capture all the fun.

The young and the young at heart will be able to explore the vehicles in person. They can climb on them, blow their horns, and meet personnel. Everything from tractors and transfer trucks to police cars, fire and other first responder vehicles and city heavy equipment will be on display. The activity will be held rain or shine, and Wild waves Theme and Water Park will be the venue for the occasion.

Touch a Truck and other events give the public a time to learn more about how their city operates and maintains its infrastructure. Signage, handouts and souvenir Promotional Products for an activity can all be prepared by a professional printer for an event.

Federal Way will see this special activity roll into 36201 Enchanted Pkwy S on May 17th. It will be running from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
