Federal Way Chamber to host annual luncheon update

The Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce provides its membership with the support to find success, and it has scheduled an event for August that will provide an update on the organization.

The Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center has been reserved for the State of the Chamber, which will be open to members and the general public. Early bird tickets can be purchased until August 2, after which, they will revert to their full price.

The session will provide an introduction to the group as well as information about its business building, workforce development, and other initiatives. Attendees will find out about the benefits of membership and how they can maximize them, and its CEO, Rebecca Martin, will be the keynote speaker. She is one of only a handful of Chamber executives in the USA that have an American Chamber of Commerce Executives Certified Chamber Executive designation.

Annual general meetings and organizational updates hosted by not-for-profit groups give an insight into what they do and how they use their funding. Printed Copies of financial and other reports, as well as updated bylaws and other documents, can be crafted by a printing services company, which can bind them together into a single unit for easy distribution.

This opportunity to get the inside scoop on the area’s chamber will take place on Wednesday, August 7. It will be a luncheon event, starting at 11:30 am.
