The Performing Arts and Event Center (PAEC) in Federal Way is finally complete—it has acquired new signage that clearly identifies the building.
A ceremony was held recently, celebrating the PAEC's new signage. The gathering took place in front of the building, and included city council members Jeanne Burbidge, a former Federal Way mayor and a member of the 4Culture Board; Mary Gates, a former mayor of the city and the PAEC Foundation chair; Mike Park, former Federal Way mayor; members of various arts organization; and the general manager of the PAEC, Brian Hoffman. Community events like this can be promoted using poster printing.
Pete von Reichbauer, a member of the King County Council, was also recognized at the ceremony for his work to support the city of Federal Way. He obtained a grant or $100,000 in 2018 to pay for the signage.
Von Reichbauer noted that Federal Way is no longer a sleepy town, but an extremely diverse city. Since the population is so varied, it's important to have a way for people to find common ground. The PAEC does that, by offering performances from around the world.
The center, which opened in 2017, is literally on high ground, and is visible from almost anywhere in the city. Now, with the new, vibrant signage, the building can be easily identified by residents and visitors alike.
