Fall brings with it its own brand of fun, and in Federal Way, the season may mean a family trip to a nearby community for an evening of spooky excitement.
Summer’s historic downtown district will be welcoming families for its Street of Treats Halloween celebration, and many of the small businesses that call the neighborhood home will be taking part. Federal Way kids can come along wearing their favorite costumes for some trick or treating, and while they pick up some treats, their parents or guardians will be able to learn more about what makes each of the participating enterprises special and what they have to offer.
The merchants in attendance will welcome the families, and at each stop, the kids can collect some candy or other treats. The event is on offer free of charge, and the street will be closed off to vehicle traffic for the safety of all. The function will run for three hours.
A community celebration can be a lot of fun for the public. In addition to candy, Promotional Products are also sometimes distributed by the participating merchants at events like this.
Summer’s Street of Treats event is scheduled for Monday, October 31st. It is set to run from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Everyone is encouraged to come along and get involved.
