The Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center will host a stand-up show featuring three female comedians. This performance will be part of the Ladies of Laughter Fun and Fabulous Tour.
Ladies of Laughter is partly a competition. Prominent past winners of the competition include top comedians such as Amy Schumer and Melissa Ranch.
While this competition is still held biannually, the event has grown into a movement. Its mission is to provide female comedians with the assistance and encouragement they need to grow their careers. The organization has awarded thousands of dollars and many career-changing opportunities to women in comedy.
The three female comedians at the event will be Stephanie Blum, Caitlin Peluffo, and Karen Rontowski. Each of these women have appeared on prominent television and radio shows.
They also bring a wide array of career experiences to the table. Blum has won multiple awards. Peluffo has opened for comedians like Colin Quinn and Gilbert Gottfried, while Rontowski has her own greeting card line.
The performance will take place on Thursday, March 10. The Federal Way PAEC is located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. The show is recommended for mature audiences.
