The instrument-free group Naturally 7 will be visiting Washington State this February for a performance in Federal Way. Their show will be hosted by the Federal Way Performing Arts & Event Center.
The seven-man group performs in the genre of music known as a cappella, in which singers use only their voices and no physical instruments. The highest-skilled artists in this genre are able to manipulate their voices to closely resemble the acoustics of guitars, keyboards, drums, and so on.
Naturally 7 presents its own version of the style that the members call “vocal play.” Not only did they win a national a cappella competition, but their YouTube videos have received millions of hits. They have also released several albums and songs, some of which have made an impression on the European and Australian charts.
In addition, the band has collaborated with several top artists, such as Ludacris and Michael Bublé, and performed in various locations of interest. These include the 2009 Bermuda Music Festival, The Late Late Show, and Madison Square Garden.
The show will be performed on Thursday, February 3 at 7:30 PM. The location of the performance center is 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way South. Those interested can find out more about the event and the venue on the center's website under its Logo Design.
