Norfolk to celebrate Virginia Childrens Festival

Those with kids are invited to attend the 31st Annual Virginia Children’s Festival this October at Town Point Park in Downtown Norfolk.

The Virginia Children’s Festival is an event that encourages families to spend the day having fun experiences. There will be several organizations attending the festival that will put on performances, including the Evelyn Ott School of Dance, Tidewater Fencing Club, and Ballet Virginia International. Kids can also create art with the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. Toddlers will have a designated gated area where they can safely play at the event.

Children can join in a variety of activities during the festival, like playing at a Play-Doh Imagination Station, working with Lego, and getting their faces painted. Kids can listen to different presentations and learn about subjects such as pirates, plants, and technology. There will also be vendors attending the event selling food and crafts. Businesses with booths at events such as this can use banner printing to draw attention from attendees.

The 31st Annual Virginia Children’s Festival will be held on October 5 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission will cost $5 per person, and children who are aged one or under can enter the event for free. All ages can attend the festival, though the experience is designed for children who are 10 and younger.
