The Maker’s Craft Brewery in Norfolk will host a unique art show in August to showcase local talent.
The Norfolk Pancakes & Booze Art Show is an experience for art lovers who want something more underground and high-energy than a typical gallery environment. There will be over 50 artists featured at the brewery who will show off more than 200 pieces. A full bar will be available at the event, and guests can have unlimited pancakes throughout the art show. Local DJs and music producers will provide live entertainment at the exhibition. Attendees can also see live body painting.
The Pancakes & Booze Art Show is a traveling pop-up event that started in Los Angeles. Since its debut in 2009, the show has been held in more than 40 cities throughout the United States, such as San Antonio, Oklahoma City, and Chicago. The event gives artists an opportunity to share their work with consumers and sell pieces without owing the organizers commissions. All styles of art are accepted at the show, including makers who sell jewelry, ceramics, and prints.
The art show will be held on Saturday, August 15th at 7:00 pm. The event will last until 11:00 pm. Early bird tickets to the underground experience are $17 per person, and admission on the day of the show is $23.
