Norfolk to celebrate coastal spirits festival

The MacArthur Center in Norfolk will be holding the Coastal Virginia Spirits Festival this April to help benefit the organization givingLOCAL.

The Coastal Virginia Spirits Festival allows guests to spend the day trying out different alcoholic beverages from local breweries. There will be several businesses attending this year, such as the Vitae Spirits Distillery, Cobbler Mountain Cellars, and the Tarnished Truth Distilling Company. Music will be played during the spirits festival. Select stores at the MacArthur Center will also be offering special deals and raffles to attendees.

The organization givingLOCAL is a group dedicated to providing local assistance to worthy causes. Volunteers for the charitable organization work together to raise funds and resources to support community-based initiatives. The group hosts multiple fundraising events throughout the year, like its Holiday Pop Up Bar, Stony Point Wine Festival, and the Old Dominion Cider Sampler. Organizations such as givingLOCAL that raise funds for important causes can use flyer printing to advertise their events and influence people to attend.

The Coastal Virginia Spirits Festival is currently set to be held on Saturday, April 25 from noon to 6:00 pm. Tickets to attend the tasting event will cost each person $40 at the door, though admission can be purchased in advance for $30 instead. Those interested in supporting givingLOCAL can donate to the organization on their website.
