Norfolk breakfast to help raise funds for local group

Kids, Kin' n Caregivers will hold an event at the Double Tree by Hilton Norfolk Airport in May to help support their programs.

The 3rd Annual Kids, Kin' n Caregivers Benefit Breakfast is a fundraiser where people can help children and their relative caregivers while enjoying a group meal. Those who want to offer more support to grandfamilies at the event can participate in a silent auction. There will be many packages for businesses interested in sponsoring the breakfast. The prices vary from $500 to $5,000 and include advertising spaces in the event's program and logo representation on the venue's scrolling presentation.

Kids, Kin' n Caregivers is an organization that helps children who have been put into the care of trusted individuals who are not their birth parents. The group aims to use kinship care to reduce the number of home placements kids experience. The organization's executive director is Kathy L. Dial, an experienced social worker who attended Idaho State University, San Diego State University, and Norfolk State University. Dial also has experience in child welfare services.

The benefit breakfast will be on Tuesday, May 7th from 9:00am to 11:00am. General admission tickets to the breakfast will cost guests $40. People may also donate additional money to the fundraiser or sponsor tickets for kin caregivers. Organizations in charge of beneficial breakfasts like this may use printing services to make ads for these fundraisers.
