The Street Dreams Corvette Club will hold a community car show in September at the UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Norfolk.
The Boulevard of Wheels Custom Car Show is a public competition where people can enter their vehicles for a chance to win dash plaques and trophies. All makes and models are allowed to be entered in the contest. Several awards can be won at the show, including the Best Corvette in Show Award and Best in Show Award. Attendees will receive goodie Bags at the event and can enjoy musical entertainment. People may also enter a 50/50 raffle during the show.
The Street Dreams Corvette Club is an organization that wishes to establish camaraderie between those who love Corvettes and encourage interactions with other automobile groups. The club was founded in 2000 by John Davis, Ken Byrd, and Darren Thomas. The organization has partnered with many charities, such as Seton Youth Shelters and the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. The club has also organized events like the Chevrolet and GM Car Show.
The event will be on Saturday, September 2nd from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. People can register their vehicles for the show in advance for $25. Registering a car on the day of the program will cost $30. Clubs that organize car shows like this may use poster printing to produce advertisements that can be placed throughout their communities.
