This month, the Bayou Boogaloo Music and Cajun Food Festival will be making a stop at Town Point Park in Norfolk, Virginia.
The Bayou Boogaloo Music and Cajun Food Festival invites locals to experience Louisiana-inspired culture by trying Cajun dishes and participating in a variety of activities at the event.
The festival will be including dishes from restaurants such as Nola Boils and Lasyone’s Meat Pies. Music will be played throughout the weekend, featuring performers like Chubby Carrier, Jonathon Long, and the Empire Strikes Brass.
Attendees to the festival will get the chance to witness reptiles during an educational presentation held by Reptile Adventures. There will also be additional entertainment provided by The Flyin Bayou Busker, the Rad Hatter, and the Voodoo Magician, Edoardo Pignataro.
A New Orleans Arts Market will also be held where guests can browse a variety of talented vendors. Artists participating in markets can use poster printing for advertising their booths.
The Bayou Boogaloo Music and Cajun Food Festival will be held from June 28 to 30. Each day, the event will start at noon, ending at 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 6:00 pm on Sunday.
Tickets for the festival can be bought online for $15 per person. Weekend packages are available for $30 instead. Fans of Cajun cuisine can purchase the Crawfish Package for $33, which includes a 3lb bag of cooked crawfish.
