The 34th annual Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival is taking place next month for two days.
The festival is set to feature some of the best-known jazz and R&B musicians in the country today. This year’s performers include The Sax Pack, Brian Culbertson, Gerald Albright, Jonathan Butler, Jazz Funk Soul, Steve Cole, and Vivian Green.
Guests will be able to purchase food and drink. The marketplace will also be selling a variety of handmade arts and crafts and merchandise from local small businesses.
The New Journal and Guide VIP Jazz Club will be set up to provide appetizers, non-alcoholic drinks, discounted bar tickets, and private restrooms. Tickets are $80 per day, $149 for two days and $169 for two days reserved seating. Small groups can also rent a private cabana tent which includes access to a catered menu.
Boaters are also welcome to bring their boats for a docking fee of $20 per day.
Norfolk poster printing firms may be asked to provide marketing materials for this year’s festival to spread the word beyond the city.
