Annual festival lights up the Norfolk night

LanternAsia 2018 is taking place in Norfolk beginning next month and running until May. It is a presentation of Tianyu Culture Communication.

The festival takes place at the Norfolk Botanical Garden and features one mile of Asian lanterns, lights, and sculpture, as well as other works of art that will be on display during daylight. Much of the art will be created by visiting Chinese artisans.

The event will kick off with an opening party on March 8 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, a variety of Asian foods and drinks, and an exclusive preview of the festival. Tickets are $100 per person.

The original festival, in 2016, attracted approximately 110,000 visitors and earned over $1.3m. To advertise this sort of event, organizers often invest in flyer or poster printing services from a Norfolk printing company.

LanternAsia 2018 will be held at the Norfolk Botanical Garden from March 9 to May 13; hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM in March, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM in April and May. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children between the ages of 3 and 17. Members of the gardens are admitted free of charge before 4:00 PM and pay $15 after, or $5 for children.
