Wear an ugly sweater for a good cause in Manassas

DC-area social groups have banded together to present their 5th Annual Ugly Sweater Party and Toy Drive coming in mid-December.

At this special event, children can pay Santa a visit and enjoy other amenities, including a lunch and dessert buffet, hot chocolate bar, dance contest, Christmas sweet treats, and cookie decorating and gingerbread house stations. Along with games and fun for everyone, guests may make their own Christmas ornaments. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase.

Prizes will go to the ugliest holiday sweaters worn by men, women, or children.

Vendors will be onsite with unique holiday gifts for purchase.

Vendors at events like this often slip custom-made Business Cards in with purchases.

Sponsors are being asked for either monetary donations to offset expenses, or gift cards, décor and food, items for swag Bags, arts and crafts materials, and photo props. Attendees are asked to bring new unwrapped toys for the Manassas Park Toys for Tots.

Tickets are priced at $15 for adults and $10 for kids, until November 11th. Kids under 4 years old will enter free of charge. All attendees must register in advance, and parking will be free.

The 5th Annual Ugly Sweater Party and Toy Drive will take place on Saturday, December 16 from noon to 3:00pm at Manassas Park Community Center, 99 Adams Street.
