First Friday's "Souper Bowl" will be back in Downtown Manassas in early February, followed in early March by an International Food Festival.
This will be the 11th year for the Souper Bowl, and the event will be a soup competition where guests may go from participating local businesses such as merchants, cafes, and restaurants to other participating businesses tasting soups like roasted butternut squash, lentil, and Puerta Rican Sancocho. They will then vote online for their favorites.
Tickets will be $20 per person and will be available inside the Manassas Railroad Depot at the Historic Manassas Visitors Center, 9431 West Street. Guests will receive maps of the participating locations, disposable tasting containers, and commemorative Mugs. Event organizers that pass out keepsake items such as Mugs usually use local Print shops for graphic and Logo Design services.
The Manassas 2025 Souper Bowl will take place Friday, February 7 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Historic Downtown Manassas. The winning cook will get a trophy and $500 cash prize.
Soon after, the International Food Festival will celebrate global cultures by showcasing more than 50 art, beverage, and food vendors selling items from around the world.
The event will take place on the Manassas Museum Lawn, 9101 Prince William Street on Sunday, March 2 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Towns that hold events like these often include them in their visitor guide brochure printing.
