Old town Manassas gets ready for Christmas season

The annual Old Town Manassas Christmas Market and Holiday Craft Show has been scheduled for the end of November.

Guests may meander among more than 80 local seasonal artisans and crafters who will be selling handmade items and unique gifts to begin checking off presents on Christmas lists, and small businesses and independent consultants will be offering seasonal products and services. Some vendors will be Babylon Chocolates, Laura's Raw Honey, firenzes Artisanal Gelato, Blue Ridge Pickling and Whispering Meadows Alpaca Breeders. Other crafters will be selling jewelry, children clothing, lattes, lemonades, cotton candy, candles, stained glass, potpourri, greeting cards, and quality towels.

Artisans and crafters at seasonal events such as this often get colorful custom-made Business Cards complete with decorative figures such as Christmas trees, stockings and reindeer printed beforehand to add eye-catching elements to their tables.

Dessert and food vendors are being especially selected to offer holiday treats and beverages.

Live Christmas music will be wafting through the air to add holiday ambience to the festivities. A Kid's Corner will have the little ones crafting their own Christmas tree ornaments.

Admission will be free.

This year's Old Town Mannassas Christmas Market and Holiday Craft Show will be from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Manassas Museum Lawn at 9101 Prince William Street Saturday, November 30th.
