The season is changing into fall and Manassas is getting into the spirit with its upcoming 34th Annual Fall Jubilee.
The event will feature over 100 booths of things to do and people to meet. A free event, it usually attracts over 45,000 people and will be kid-friendly.
Kids can pick out their Halloween pumpkins and enjoy the rides, and there will be local crafters and gourmet food booths. Independent consultant groups and nonprofit organizations will also be on hand to display their services. On-site sponsors will be manning booths to pass out Flyers and discuss their goods and services. The Prince William SPCA will have its P.A.W. Express there with its mobile pet adoption van.
Live music such as country, rock and blues on two stages will set the tone for the afternoon. Other entertainment such as the Bull Run Cloggers will also be featured during the day.
For those who love to bake, there will be a pumpkin pie-baking contest. Inversely, for those who love to eat, a pumpkin pie-eating contest may be more up their street.
