Three Manassas non-profit events are scheduled for late April and mid-May.
Ben Lomond Day at the Ben Lomond Historic Site will feature historical activities such as musket firing, games, crafts, and cooking, and there will be demonstrations and talks. The site also has farm animals, and antique tractors.
Ben Lomond Day will be Saturday, April 26 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at 10321 Sudley Manor Drive. Admission will be free.
The following Tuesday, April 29, the Blue Ridge Singers will present an Anchored in Song concert. Along with an orchestra, the Singers will present a newly composed piece called "The Lighthouse Keeper." Additional music for the evening will include a Gregorian chant, an Irish folk song, a spiritual piece, and a pirate drinking song.
Anchored in Song will begin at 7:30 pm at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road. Although admission will be free, donations of $15 per person will be welcome.
Lastly, on May 17, High Tea 2025 will be a fundraiser for House of Mercy's food pantry. It will be an elegant afternoon with curated teas, treats, charming table settings, and beautiful china. A curated fashion show will feature hand-selected thrift store fashions.
Tickets will be $50 for High Tea 2025, which will be on Saturday, May 17 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Historic District, 9290 Stonewall Road.
