Manassas heads to county fair and fall jubilee

Two events of note will be coming to Manassas over the next few weeks.

The 2022 Prince William County Fair will take place in mid-August, and in celebration of our city’s crafts and fine arts, over 30,000 visitors are expected to attend Historic Manassas’s family-oriented, community-spirited Annual Fall Jubilee to be held in early October.

Running over nine days this year, the fair will feature a rodeo, tractor pulls, 4-H livestock and home arts exhibits, live music, baby contests, and demolition derbies. Deggeller Attractions Inc. will provide games, rides, and concessions in the midway. Among the highlights of the grandstand shows will be country artist Tracy Byrd.

The fair will be from August 12 through 20, located at the Prince William County Fairgrounds, 19624 Dumfries Road.

More than 100 exhibitors are expected to be vending original arts and crafts at the Manassas Fall Jubilee. There will be children’s rides, self-defense demonstrations, and 15 food booths offering summer treats for sale. Attendees who purchase items at events such as this often find the vendor’s business card included.

Regional and local swing, country, bluegrass, rock, and blues bands and artists will perform on the venue’s two stages.

Manassas Annual Fall Jubilee will be held Saturday, October 1 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at 9431 W. Street in downtown Manassas.
