Those out to enjoy the season may attend a Celtic Christmas, buy gifts at the Xmas market, and enjoy the Nutcracker ballet.
Folksinger and U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion Sean Heely will be bringing fiddles, tartans, bagpipes, kilts, and Irish and Scottish dancing to Hylton Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 11, for a Celtic Christmas. He will perform Gaelic songs and carols, a few lively Irish tunes, and Celtic takes on familiar Christmas melodies.
The Center is at 10960 George Mason Drive and the event will begin at 4:00 pm.
Commercial vendors and local small businesses will be part of the upcoming Special Xmas Marketplace Vendor Show. Vendors and small businesses often have special Business Cards printed that they insert in with holiday purchases. The Xmas Market will take place from December 16 at 7:00 am through December 24th at 6:00 pm at Manassas Mall, 8300 Sudley Road.
The Manassas Ballet Theatre and orchestra will turn the Hylton Performing Arts Center stage into the magical world of Tchaikovsky’s beloved Nutcracker. Once again, Clara and her nutcracker prince will fight the rat king, enjoy the Walz of the Flowers, and watch the graceful Sugar Plum Fairy. The gorgeous costumes and sets from the ballet over the years have made subjects for many Stationery printers to use in creating Holiday Cards.
